Ariana Grande Urges Fans to Stop Sending ‘Hateful Messages” Amid New Album ‘Eternal Sunshine’

American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande is standing up against negativity aimed at her loved ones following the release of her album “Eternal Sunshine.”

Ariana Grande Shared A Statement For Her Fans Via Instagram Stories

Ariana Grande shared on her Instagram Story, “Hi i just wanted to say anyone that is sending hateful messages to the people in my life based on your interpretation of this album is not supporting me and is absolutely doing the polar opposite of what i would ever encourage,” ( and is also misinterpreting the intention behind the music…i ask that you please do not.

The singer continued. “it is not how to support me. it is the opposite. although the album captures a lot of painful moments, it is also woven together with a through line of deep, sincere love. if you cannot hear that, please listen more closely. thank you”

However, it’s still unclear who exactly Grande is referring to, her personal life has been under the spotlight lately. She finalized her divorce from Dalton Gomez in October 2023, after reportedly separating earlier that year. Rumours then circulated about her dating Ethan Slater, her co-star in “Wicked,” following their respective divorces.

In “Eternal Sunshine,” Grande seems to touch on her divorce in several songs, which has led to speculation about her relationship with Slater. However, the pair has faced criticism for their newfound romance.

Ariana Grande’s message serves as a plea for respect and understanding, reminding fans to focus on the love and sincerity embedded in her music rather than engaging in negativity towards those close to her.
