After physical copies of her forthcoming mixtape was accidentally sent out to fans ahead of schedule, this week, Ashnikko announced via Instagram that she would be bringing forward the release date of her highly-anticipated new mixtape, DEMIDEVIL.
It’ll be dropping this Friday via Warner Records, and to get us all super keen for its release, she’s imparted a massive new track with us titled ‘Deal With It’.
On the track, she channels a huge Kelis’ classic, “Caught Out There”. “I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!” is the fuel to her fire on this one, where she anthemically explores themes of sexual liberation the freedom of getting over an ex.
The clip is directed by Ashnikko’s previous collaborator Charlotte Rutherford. She says it’s “My tentacle break-up fantasy brought to life. And having a sample of Kelis’ “Caught Out There” is an actual dream come true. My childhood musical hero.”
