Atreyu Announce 2024 Australian Tour

Celebrating a two-and-a-half-decade legacy, Atreyu are set to return to our shores in 2024 with brand new music under their belt. One of heavy music’s enduring powerhouses, Atreyu will return to Australia for the first time since 2020, visiting fans in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Adding to the excitement, Melbourne quartet Bad/Love will handle support duties on all dates. Armed with their latest EP release, Mono No Aware Part II, the Melbourne favourites promise to complement Atreyu’s energy with their own brand of modern melodic metalcore.

In their early years, Atreyu pioneered the metalcore genre, but their evolution has led them to explore the diverse realms of pop-punk, hardcore, thrash, ’80s rock, and more. They return to us with an arsenal of fresh music, including tracks from their 2021 album Baptise and two new EPs released earlier this year, The Hope Of A Spark and The Moment You Find Your Flame.

Bassist and vocalist, Porter McKnight, describes the new tunes as the culmination of the band’s artistic endeavours, representing everything they’ve learned as humans and musicians. “It is Atreyu unleashed,” he said in a press statement.

If history is any indicator, Atreyu’s upcoming Australian shows will be choc-a-bloc, with their pre-pandemic performances in the country all selling out.
