Following yesterday’s announcement of their imminent Sydney Opera House debut, Augie March have today announced a special concert to take place within the grandeur of the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall at Melbourne’s Recital Centre.
The Recital Centre has garnered a reputation as one of the most prestigious acoustic spaces in the country and Augie March will take its stage in the new year on Friday 17th April. They will be joined by fellow Melbourne musician Fraser A Gorman.
Augie March celebrated their return to the music scene and the release of their latest album Havens Dumb with a series of comeback shows in their Melbourne hometown in October and November this year. The series of shows were originally meant to be a single comeback gig, but soon ballooned to five shows as the band attempted to keep up with demand.
Before their Recital Centre show, Augie March will play MONA FOMA’s New Year’s Sideshow in Tasmania and will make their Sydney Opera House debut on Sunday, 25th January 2015. See the details for their Melbourne show below.
