August Burns Red Announce Australian Tour April 2012

Its been a long time between drinks for the Australian fans of August Burns Red. Twice now they’ve visited our shows, with their most recent appearance being on the bill for the much loved and very much missed No Sleep Til Festival in 2010…though they seemed to be gone as soon as they arrived. However, I now have the privilege of saying that the band that brought us the power driven Messengers, the inspiring Constellations and the state of the art Leveler will be returning to our shores.

Making a habit out of rising the bench mark for all Metalcore bands with each release, The Philly based juggernauts of the scene have stolen all of our hearts by showing that you can still be dedicated to your fans no matter how busy or in demand you may be. By now we’ve gotten to know and love their charm and characters leaving fans waiting with bated breath for ABR’s next move.

It comes as no surprise that with them on tour, they are bringing Blessthefall, on an equal tier as August Burns Red, Blessthefall was coined by the all knowing and all wise Kerrang Magazine as ‘one of the worlds most explosive live bands’ a title that Australian fans got to see live and loud with Blessthefall featuring on the bill for Soundwave 2011. Now with their latest release ‘Awakenings’ fresh from the print, we are in for a treat as we get to see the freshest breakdowns and epic choruses transformed into a live performance.

Now with some serious experience under the belt following a year of recording and touring, Northlane has been aptly chosen as local support. Clearly not intimated weight of the challenged, Northlane will definitely run the risk of taking some of the attention from the tourists.

This will be one of those rare tours that caters for all. The type that people will be talking about for a long time to come, the type you would have to be seriously out of your mind to miss.
