An all-round, true-blue, flamin’ Aussie legend has just made Xmas on the floodplain of Goulburn way more merrily metal than ever before. Last week, Greg Jaeschke synchronised his elaborate Xmas lights display to AC/DC‘s Thunderstruck, and it’s hands down amazing.
After the 24-year-old posted a video on Facebook of the music and lights in action on Tuesday last week, it has now clocked up 5.5 million views in just over a week.
Jaeschke explained to The Huffington Post:
“I use controllers that I’ve customized myself. I use off the shelf lights that I cut and extend wires to my controllers and then it’s all computer controlled.”
This isn’t the first time Jaeschke made Xmas a merry metalfest with his outrageous talents. He has been tinkering away and wowing passers by (and the world) since 2013. Watch his Thunderstruck lights in all their glory, below.
And if metal-themed Xmas lights are ringing your sleigh bells, you’re probably getting flashbacks to YouTube user Slayer Bob’s super-impressive light displays, which he synced to tracks like Slipknot’s Psychosocial last year.
