Australian-based concert tracking app Whatslively has launched its second major update, adding a fresh interface and new features in a 2.0 release this week.
The app, which first launched in 2014, scans users’ Spotify or Apple Music libraries and alerts them to concerts from their favourite artists in their local area.
Version 2.0 includes a new search function for gigs, festivals and artists, as well as support for Apple’s 3D Touch technology and the option to track shows in multiple cities.
“We’ve spent the last few years observing how our users use the app, and have developed a whole new interface to make it easier to find and manage your gig life,” said Whatslively co-founder Trishanth Chandrahasan.
“We know 2.0 was a long time coming, but we promise we have a lot in our arsenal now, and will be rolling out new features a lot quicker from here on out.”
Whatslively says it currently has over 30,000 Australian users. You can download the app for iOS here or for Android here.
