Australian music promoters have fared very well in a poll charting the most successful live promoters across the globe. No less than seven homegrown organisations made it onto the list put together by Pollstar magazine, a publication that covers the fluctuating fortunes of the live music industry across the world. The list is based on the first six months of 2011.
