Azealia Banks has confirmed she will still be appearing at Splendour in the Grass despite recent cancellations of a number of performances in the UK. Banks made an announcement over the weekend cancelling performances at Lovebox, Rockness, Rough Beats, Wakestock, Rock am Ring, Rock Werchter and Parklife.
Melbourne music website Tonedeaf speculated that this could also lead to her Splendour 2012 appearance being cancelled; however, this was never the case. A look back at Banks’ Twitter account shows a tweet confirming her Splendour appearance 3 days ago:
Banks recently signed up with the same management team as Lady Gaga, telling fans she’ll no longer be releasing any “ghetto mixes.”
Earlier today the Splendour organisers announced a whole bunch of new sideshows.
