A. B. Original’s Detective Work Continues In New Clip For ‘I C U’

Briggs & Trials have put out another ripper of a new clip for their track I C U off their new A. B. Original album Reclaim Australia.

The plot from their video for January 26 continues, as the divisive hip hop duo work as detectives to put together evidence including footage of a man wearing an Australian flag as a mask, while they rap about issues of privilege and struggle.

The clip also features the sultry vocals of singer-songwriter Thelma Plum, with her singing becoming testimony as part of the collection of evidence.

“You can address Australia Day, you can address people doing Blackface – but things aren’t going to change until people are willing to have the conversation about the bigger issue of racism,” said the duo after their January 26 video was released.

A.B Original brought Aussie legend Paul Kelly into triple j last week for Like A Version to perform Dumb Things, and you can catch the duo at Laneway 2017.
