Bad//Dreems Share New Single ‘Dumb Ideas’, Announce Record Store Tour

Adelaide rock group Bad//Dreems have dropped a brand new single, Dumb Ideas, after signing with Ivy League Records, and have also announced an intimate record store tour across May/June.

Dumb Ideas is the product of a recent recording session with producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, Cold Chisel, INXS). It’s a scathing put-down of a song with plenty of bite.

Bad//Dreems’ Dumb Ideas Tour will see the band play independent record stores in Adelaide and up the east coast. Check out the full tour details below.

Fronted by Ben Marwe, Bad//Dreems take influence from Australian guitar bands (Coloured Girls-era Paul Kelly, The Go-Betweens), as well as U.S. indie groups of the same era (Wipers, The Replacements). The group’s debut EP Badlands was released in 2013.

Dumb Ideas will be released on 14th April digitally via Ivy League Records and will be available on double A-side 7” exclusively when you purchase a ticket to the Dumb Ideas Tour, or at the shows themselves.
