Baker Boy, Kee’ahn & More To Play Live Sets On TikTok For NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is currently happening, after it was postponed from July due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a bunch of Indigenous artists are playing live sets on TikTok to celebrate.

Mak Mak Marranunggu rapper J-MILLA kicked the week off last night, performing his set at 8pm AEDT.

Four more acts – Baker Boy, Sycco, Kee’ahn and Mitch Tambo – will each play their own sets throughout the rest of the week, with each act performing at 8pm AEDT on their own day.

Kee’ahn – who delivered one of the best Australian songs of 2020 so far with ‘Better Things’ – will be performing tonight. Sycco, off the back of her latest cut ‘Dribble’, will be playing Wednesday night.

Baker Boy will be perform a slew of his hits on Thursday night, and Mitch Tambo,  who just offered a searing rendition of Vanessa Amorosi‘s ‘Absolutely Everybody’ for compilation album Deadly Hearts – Walking Together, will wrap things up on Friday.

All performances will be happening on each artist’s respective TikTok accounts, and comes off the back of a powerful perfomance on The Sound last Sunday night (8th November).

Christine Anu, Ngaiire, Emma Donovan and Electric Fields‘ Zaachariaha Fielding teamed up for a stunning rendition of Warumpi Band‘s ‘My Island Home’, recorded in each of their hometowns.
