Southampton rock heavyweights Band Of Skulls are returning to Australia for a whirlwind run of east coast tour dates, to celebrate the release of their third LP, Himalayan, due out in stores this coming 28th March.
After the success of 2012’s release Sweet Sour, which hit the ARIA album chart at 35 and birthed successful radio singles The Devil Takes Care Of his Own, and title track Sweet Sour, the band have toured worldwide, including support slots for artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, The Dead Weather and Muse.
Band Of Skulls played a memorable set at the 2012 Splendour In The Grass, with their full-throttle live shows have earning them a reputation amongst Australian audiences as one of the most accomplished, exciting live bands around.
Fans got a taste of the forthcoming record last year, with lead single Asleep At The Wheel, produced by Nick Launay of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Nick Cave fame. The single and the prestigious producer promises a new album that combines trademark raucous blues riffs with faultless vocal harmonies full of raw power.
