Sydney four-piece Battleships have followed-up the success of their debut release, To You, with Take Your Rest, the first single from a batch of forthcoming new material, and will be celebrating the song and accompanying video with a string of East Coast shows this December.
Take Your Rest is the next step in the evolution of Battleships, taking the innovative percussive elements, elegiac vocals and layered, sweeping tones by which fans have come to know the band, and introducing new production and structural elements to the band’s lush sound.
Their tour will kick off Friday, 29th November at the Worker’s Club in Melbourne, where the band will be joined by Vancouver Sleep Clinic and Bnash. The band will then work their way up the East Coast, finishing off at Hideaway in Brisbane. Check below for all dates and details.
