Baltimore chillwave duo Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand, more commonly referred to as Beach House, have announced a series of headline theatre shows that the pair will embark on while in town for Falls Festival 2012/2013. Beach House will be returning to our shores in support of their fourth album, Bloom.
Released through the band’s long-term label Mistletone Records, it is a roller coaster ride through the minds of the creative partners in crime. The vivid concepts discussed with total honesty provide an out-of-this-world listening experience, but put it on a live stage, and it’s a whole new journey altogether, truly testament to the band’s songwriting and storytelling abilities.
The sideshow run of theatre performances will see Beach House venture through Sydney and Melbourne, and then wrap things up in Brissy, which means there won’t be a great deal of tickets. The live transformation of the tracks as well as the ambiance of their shows is a solid indicator as to why and how Beach House has such a strong and dedicated following. You’ll want to see that for yourself.
