Ben Sherman Big British Sound 2010

In 2010 Ben Sherman are returning to present their annual live music love-in; the Ben Sherman Big British Sound. Following the huge success of the Big British Sound’s debut in Sydney last year, they’ve decided to take the show on the road this year, and will host the Big British Sound in Melbourne, as well as Sydney.

The Ben Sherman Big British Sound is a chance for a range of the best emerging independent Australian musicians to come together and celebrate the brand’s British music heritage. Each artist will play one or two covers at each gig from British artists they are influenced by, or who they admire.

The 2009 event saw some startling sets from artists including Tame Impala, Art vs Science, Little Red, Jack Ladder and The Seabellies. Tame Impala’s cover of ‘Remember Me’ was one of the more compelling moments of the night, the track making it into 2009’s Triple J Hottest 100.

This year’s events see an amazing array of talent including Bertie Blackman, Whitley, Jonathan Boulet, Fergus Brown, Pikelet, Big Scary, Deep Sea Arcade + DJs.
