Beyoncé And Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder Collaboration To Get Official Release

Though it might be unseasonably late in the game, Pearl Jam have begun teasing the release of their next holiday single. One side of the official single will be a collaborative cover between Eddie Vedder and Queen Bey herself of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song.

Performed as a duet between Vedder and Bey at last year’s Global Citizen Festival, the single will be accompanied by a Pearl Jam rendition of Free’s Wishing Well, which the grunge lords recorded back in 1991.

Since 1991, Pearl Jam have gone out of their way to spend the festive season with their most loyal fans via an official holiday single. Released more or less towards the end of the year, Ten Club Holiday Single has slipped a little, dropping June or even September of the following year. But hey, a lot of us still have Christmas lights up so who’s judging?

There’s still no word on an official release date but realistically we aren’t taking these fairy lights down anytime soon, so no immediate rush.
