Beyoncé’s Team Takes Extreme Measures to Prevent Song Leak During Post Malone Collaboration

Beyoncé went to great lengths to ensure her collaboration with Post Malone remained under wraps. The 42-year-old superstar had one of her team members personally deliver the track to Post Malone’s compound in Utah to prevent any leaks. The song, titled LEVII’S JEANS, is part of Beyoncé’s country album Cowboy Carter.

Post Malone, the 29-year-old Pour Me a Drink hitmaker, described the experience as “terrifying,” emphasizing the intense caution they took to avoid the song being leaked. In an interview with The New York Times, he reflected on the pressures of fame and the extreme measures involved in protecting high-profile projects. “I can’t even imagine being at their level — it must suck,” Post admitted, expressing his awe at the level of security required for stars like Beyoncé and his Fortnight duet partner, Taylor Swift.

Recalling the precautions taken for Taylor’s scenes in the Fortnight music video, Post revealed that she was shielded by an umbrella and drapes over a golf cart to prevent drones and helicopters from capturing footage. “That’s so much pressure,” he added, highlighting the intense scrutiny these artists face.

Despite his success in multiple genres, including hip-hop, pop, rock, R’n’B, and trap, Post Malone has recently ventured into country music with his upcoming album F-1 Trillion. However, he admitted that before embarking on this new chapter, he contemplated quitting music altogether. Reflecting on his last two albums, Twelve Carat Toothache (2022) and Austin (2023), he shared, “There was a second there where I was like, ‘Oh well, maybe I have made enough money, and it’s time to go and just ranch.'”

As he prepares for the release of F-1 Trillion, Post Malone continues to navigate the complexities of fame and the pressures that come with being one of the industry’s most versatile and in-demand artists.
