Pnau, Hayden James, Spacey Jane and Lime Cordiale lead the absolutely massive lineup for the inaugural Beyond the City, a two-day New Year’s Eve festival in Melbourne’s inner city organised by the team behind Beyond the Valley.
Set to run between December 30-31 across the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and surrounding Kings Domain parklands, the stacked bill also features the likes of Ball Park Music, Mallrat, Allday, Sycco, Lastlings, Nina Las Vegas, Alice Ivy, Cosmo’s Midnight and heaps more. See the full lineup below.
Beyond the Valley promoters Untitled Group announced back in August that BTV would not be going ahead at its usual home of Gippsland Parklands in Lardner this year, citing uncertainty around COVID-19 restrictions and the prospect of a sudden cancellation.
They announced that in its stead a two-day inner-city event would be going ahead. The event will be fully standing, with dancing permitted and no pods. “We look forward to returning to our usual camping format for Beyond the Valley 2022, but in the meantime, we’re so excited to be able to bring BTV to the City for this unique festival experience,” organisers commented in a statement last month.
See the full lineup for Beyond the City 2021 below. Pre-sale will commence next Wednesday, 10th November – sign up here to be eligible. Tickets will go on sale to the general public the following day.
