Big Day Out have announced the lineup for the specially-curated Red Bull No Noise Nightclub that will be operating at the nationwide festival, which kicks off in Sydney on Friday.
The Nightclub will feature DJ sets from artists who have performed on stage at the BDO earlier that day, along with other indie and electro guest acts and competition winners.
In what is effectively a giant silent disco, the area’s sound will be delivered to the crowd via state-of-the-art headphones, ensuring a crisp, private listening experience alongside 750 other punters.
Organisers have told nightclubbers to be “prepared to walk in and see acts you think you know doing something completely different” – and it certainly looks like the Red Bull No Noise Nightclub will deliver just that at Big Day Out 2013.
