‘Bill & Ted Face The Music’ Soundtrack Features New Music From Mastodon, Lamb of God, Weezer And More

Bill & Ted Face the Music will start showing in Australian cinemas next week – but before it does, you can stream its absolutely stacked official soundtrack right here, right now.

The album includes a new song from Mastodon titled ‘Rufus Lives’ – a nod to George Carlin’s character in the first two films – alongside fresh contributions from Lamb of God, Weezer, FIDLAR, Cold War Kids and more. As you may recall, Weezer’s track ‘Beginning of the End (Wyld Stallyns Edit)’ arrived earlier this month as the soundtrack’s lead single.

Bill and Ted’s fictional band Wyld Stallyns also appear on the soundtrack – their song ‘Face the Music’ features Animals As Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi.

Bill & Ted Face the Music is the third instalment in the franchise, arriving almost three decades after we last saw Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter portray the titular heroes in 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.

The film sees Winter and Reeves reprise their respective, with the plot revolving around the pair traveling to the future in order to steal a song from themselves that will unite the world. William Sadler returns to his role as Death, while newcomers Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Kid Cudi also feature.
