It’s happening – Billie Eilish is coming down under. The alt-pop megastar has announced an all-ages Australian arena tour for February of 2025 in honour of her forthcoming third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to be on the East Coast to see her, with Eilish playing four arena dates each in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Tour promoters Live Nation and Frontier Touring have confirmed that, sadly, no further dates will be added to the run.
Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft Trailer
Tickets for all 12 shows go on sale to the general public at staggered times from this Friday, 3rd May, with a whole bunch of pre-sale options on offer. You can suss all the dates and details down below.
The tour also comes packing a number of eco-friendly initiatives, including a limited number of Changemaker Tickets (with a portion of the proceeds going to not-for-profit organisations aimed at combating food insecurity) and special Billie Eilish REVERB Eco-Villages set up at two locations in the main concourse of every show, where fans can “take part in the tour’s sustainability efforts, connect with nonprofits, and take meaningful action for people and the planet”.
As for Billie’s new album, fans won’t get a chance to hear any of the LP’s songs prior to its official release on Friday, 17th May. The only thing that’s been shared with us so far is a cryptic 18-second trailer, which depicts the artist floating underwater before she’s pulled away out of frame by a disembodied hand (watch above).
As with her two previous records, Billie co-wrote Hit Me Hard and Soft with her brother Finneas O’Connell – who also served as the album’s producer. Though no track titles have been revealed, listings for the new album describe it as “her most daring body of work to date”.
