Black Veil Brides have some serious explaining to do after they were snapped performing on stage at Warped Tour performing with fake amps. The metal crew were busted by a friend of Bronx drummer Jorma Vik, who managed to sneak a photo of the empty boxes, which would look like a normal full stack to the kids in the crowd.
Vik posted the photo on his Facebook with the amusing caption “This is what the kids are calling “rock n roll” these days. I’m lighting fire to every drum I have and becoming an investment banker.” Judging by the comments on the post, this is a serious taboo for a band at Black Veil Brides’ level.
The worst part is that when the band’s frontman Andy Biersack addressed the issues, he didn’t explain the situation, nor did he apologise for it but rather attempted to downplay the situation, saying, “We use staging in our stage show. Also these are tattoos, I wasn’t born with the batman logo on my arm.”
Check out the image below. We apologise to any BVB fans that have now become disillusioned. But not really.
