The tidal wave of Sidewaves announcements keeps rolling like it ought to, with the latest exciting unveiling coming courtesy of Hollywood-bred glam metal outfit Black Veil Brides, one of the more divisive but certainly road-tested, capable, and flamboyant bands on the Soundwave 2014 lineup.
The band has had an awesome 2013 to boot, unleashing their third full-length album, titled Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones. The album brims with the band’s trademark grit-laden riffs, orchestral punches, skilled soloing, and anthemic choruses, with plenty of 80s hair metal flair.
It was hailed as their most ambitious studio effort to date and fans will get to hear cuts live at The Bald Faced Stag in Sydney and Melbourne’s Arrow On Swanston. The bands are no strangers to Soundwave either, having played in 2012 alongside names such as System of a Down.
The band’s Australian Sidewave tour kicks off Tuesday, 25th February at a Licensed All Ages show at The Bald Faced Stag, before continuing down the coast to Arrow On Swanston the next night for a special All Ages show. Tickets hit sale 9:00am AEDT Wednesday, 5th February.
