Netherlands band Blackbriar has released their latest single “Moonflower,” featuring the captivating vocals of Marjana Seminka. Following their album release of “A Dark Euphony” in September last year, the band continues to showcase their narrative music.
Zora Cock, the Blackbriar’s vocalist described the single via a statement. “Moonflower tells a love story between a female vampire and a mortal girl and transports you to a bygone era where darkness and desire intertwine. It’s inspired by the 19th-century gothic novel ‘Carmilla’, a timeless story that predates even the infamous Dracula. The song features a guest songstress Marjana Semkina, who I think is the most perfect fit for making this Moonflower an ethereal, haunting, and dark duet.”

Blackbriar is expected to delve deeper into these themes. With three EPs, a full-length album, and collaborations with Joost van den Broek, Blackbriar is poised to deliver an unforgettable musical experience.
Blackbriar is a powerhouse of musical talent, with Zora Cock on vocals, René Boxem on drums, Bart Winters and Robin Koezen on guitars, Siebe Sol Sijpkens on bass, and Ruben Wijga on keys.
Intrigued fans can look forward to exploring themes of beauty in darkness, gothic romances, bone-chilling legends, and more in their songs and albums.
