Blackpink’s LISA Releases New Solo Single And Music Video For ‘Rockstar’

K-pop group, Blackpink’s rapper Lisa released her new solo single ‘Rockstar’. She released her first single, titled ‘Lalisa’ three years back.

This solo will mark the K-pop star’s first release via RCA Records and LLOUD. She is the founder of the management company LLOUD, and she did it in February.

In the accompanying video, Lisa can be seen rapping a verse of her song, which goes like “Make your favorite singer wanna rap, baby, la, la / ‘Lisa, can you teach me Japanese?’ I said, ‘Hai, hai,’ / That’s my life, life, baby, I’m a rockstar,”

This song has not been entirely written by Lisa but was co-written by Ryan Tedder, Brittany Amaradio, James Essien, Lucy Healey, and Sam Homaee.

LLOUD said the following in a press release “Having made numerous achievements with her album to become a global pop artist, Lisa’s ‘Rockstar’ is expected to garner listeners’ attention, especially with the backing of RCA Records.”

She made her solo debut in September 2021 by releasing a two-track single album named “Lalisa”. The names of the two songs were ‘Lalisa’, which was the title track, and ‘Money’. She was last seen in the release of Big Bang singer Taeyang’s ‘Shoong!’ back in April 2023.

This new release of the superstar, Lisa has made all her fans go crazy and they are showering immense love on it, and hopefully this release of hers will also break a lot of records just like her previous release did.
