Following last week’s embarrassing leak of part of this year’s Bonnaroo lineup, the festival has let US talk-show host Conan O’Brien announce the event’s full first lineup, which comes with a few surprises.
Aside from previously leaked acts like headliners Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem and Dead & Company, the complete first edition Bonnaroo lineup also boasts the likes of The Chainsmokers, Band Of Horses, Adam Devine, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Sam Hunt and comedian/director Judd Apatow & Friends.
Other previously leaked Bonnaroo 2016 acts include Tame Impala, M83, HAIM, Father John Misty, CHVRCHES, Tyler, The Creator, Purity Ring, FIDLAR, Waxahatchee and Lamb Of God. This being the first full lineup announcement, organisers say there are “many more” acts still to be announced.
“Some of that information was leaked online before we could announce it,” Conan added, as reported by Consequence of Sound. “But there is one appearance at this year’s Bonnaroo that no one knows about … I’m thrilled to announce that appearing at Bonnaroo this year, for the first time ever, are flushable toilets!”
What a time to be alive.
Video of Conan’s announcement isn’t available online yet, but you bet your horses we’ll be updating this article when it is. – UPDATE: Conan’s Bonnaroo lineup announcement video is available to view below.
