Emerging Australian rock acts Boy in a Box and Kingswood are joining forces and tearing up the road together in what has been dubbed the Split Ends Tour (not to be confused with the Split Enz). Both bands are riding the success of current releases with Boy in a Box (pictured above) having just released their new EP, On My Mind.
Meanwhile, Kingwood have been making waves with their EP Change of Heart, which has seen both Yeah Go Die and Medusa receive plenty of airplay. The Melbourne four-piece will also be opening up this year’s Splendour in the Grass after winning triple j Unearthed Splendour in the Grass competition. Check out Kingswood talking to Music Feeds about Splendour and their EP.
Both the bands are destined for bigger and better things and it won’t be long ’til they’re playing to larger venues, so be sure to grab a ticket to the Split Ends Tour and catch their rocking sets in a cramped intimate setting, like live music is suppose to be.
