Remember this time last year, when we were all settling into what would be our new, pandemic-stricken normal? Well, triple j aimed to help ease that pain by delivering Requestival – an entire week where the station plays nothing but listener’s requests, no matter how absurd they may be.
And guess what? They’re bringing it back, baby.
That’s right – the absolute mayhem that is Requestival is coming back for its second run this year, and it all goes down in just a week’s time.
From 6am – 9pm every weekday next week (Monday, 10th – Friday, 14th May), triple j will only be playing songs chosen by listeners. But, unlike last year, listeners will also be deciding the content of Live at the Wireless and the Friday mix.
The station has also teased a huge surprise for next week’s ‘Like A Version’, which is intriguing to say the least – we’ve already had The Wiggles.
