“In 2016 Bring Me The Horizon will tour Australia. This is not a drill. Please try to remain calm.”
British metalcore lads turned stadium rockers Bring Me The Horizon are continuing to tease fans Down Under with the promise of an imminent 2016 tour announcement.
After their previously-scheduled dates went down the crapper with the cancellation of Soundwave 2016, the Oli Sykes-fronted fivesome have been pledging to make it up to fans with their own Australian headlining tour this year.
Back in January, BMTH explained that they “had to look at reworking our South East Asian dates to fit around our new Australian dates”, while promising “an announcement on the rearranged dates” would be made “ASAP”.
And now, it appears that announcement is a step closer, with the band once again taking to Facebook to remind fans that the tour is happening!!!!
The news comes after BMTH bagged three songs in the triple j Hottest 100 of 2015: Happy Song, True Friends and Throne, which accounted for 50% of the heavy rock/metal tracks featured on the countdown (there were 6 in total).
