BTS Once Again Smash Record For Most YouTube Views In 24 Hours

K-pop superstars and ultimately unstoppable force BTS have reclaimed a record that they once had, with their music video for ‘Dynamite’ garnering the most views ever in a 24 hour period on YouTube.

‘Dynamite’ managed to earn a colossal 101.1 million views in its first 24 hours on the website, which surpasses the previous record holder – fellow K-pop legends BLACKPINK with ‘How You Like That’ – by almost 15 million views.

This is the third time BTS have held the crown. They first earned it in 2018 with ‘Idol’, which rolled up 45.9 million views in 24 hours, and ‘Boy With Luv’ with Halsey in 2019, earning 74.6 million views.

The new song comes ahead of the release of the band’s forthcoming concert film, Break The Silence: The Movie. The film – which is set for release next month – follows RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V and Jungkook on their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ tour.
