With just a week to go until their debut full-length album hits shelves, Melbourne crew Buchanan have revealed their plans to celebrate with a launch party. Their followers seem pretty keen to see what the band deliver from their maiden LP and are sure to be pleased that they can check out Human Spring in a live setting shortly after its release.
By the sounds of things, Human Spring is going to be a fairly loaded release, inspired by political events and the emotions which surround them. The first taste test came in the form of title track Human Spring, which was cranked by the likes of triple j. You can check out the clip for that one below.
The band took a DIY approach with their previous EPs but decided to bring more focus to the table this time round. Human Spring the album was recorded across several different studios with strong emphasis on production, recording the album with Simons and Catherine Marks who have previous worked with the likes of Foals and Death Cab For Cutie.
Human Spring will drop Friday, 10th May with the album launch continuing the party on 6th June. Details below.
