Brisbane newcomers Bugs have made huge buzz over the past twelve months, and now they’re keeping the hype going with new single ‘Seriously’.
‘Seriously’ is taken from the band’s upcoming album Self-Help. To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated record, the band have announced that they’re taking the album on a nationwide tour.
This tour isn’t even the only run of shows Bugs will be undertaking in the next couple of months. They’re also supporting Aussie legends Grinspoon on their upcoming nationwide tour, so it’s going to be a busy few weeks for the boys to say the least.
Of the song, Bugs’ frontman Connor Brooker says it’s about the importance of recognising that everyone makes mistakes.
“‘Seriously’ is a song about those times you screw up and end up feeling like a bit of a goofball,” he said in a statement.
“It’s easy to be self-deprecating when you make a mistake, but it’s often more helpful to shrug it off and remind yourself that these things happen to everyone.”
Self-Help is out Friday, 20th September.
