Newcastle’s biggest New Year’s Eve party is returning this year, with a killer lineup featuring some of the best Aussie acts going around.
The Cambridge NYE Street Party might not be Australia’s biggest New Year’s event, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality of music, and this year will see festival’s biggest and best lineup to-date rocking out at Newcastle’s Cambridge Hotel.
Leading the charge is Melbourne rapper Illy, Perth indie rock outfit San Cisco, as well as Boo Seeka and The Kite String Tangle. Joining them are Kim Churchill, Bootleg Rascal, Lyall Moloney, Jayteehazard and Ravve Tapes.
There’s set to be a heap of market stalls and live art also on display for novocastrians to ring in the new year, while the music will feature across two massive stages for the first time.
