Camp Cope are gearing up for the release of their third LP, Running With the Hurricane, on Friday, 25th March. The Melbourne band have already shared two singles from the album and they’ve now unveiled dates for a national headline tour this May.
The Running With the Hurricane album tour will begin at the Tivoli, Brisbane, on Saturday, 7th May. Next stop is Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, 12th May. The tour wraps up with two Victorian shows, on Friday, 13th May at Melbourne’s Forum and Saturday, 14th May at Theatre Royal, Castlemaine.
Running With the Hurricane follows 2018’s How To Socialise & Make Friends and the band’s 2016 self-titled album. The upcoming tour is Camp Cope’s first run of national headline dates since the tour behind How To Socialise & Make Friends. Tickets go on sale 11am AEDT (10am QLD) this Thursday, 10th March.
Camp Cope returned last November with the single ‘Blue’. They announced the new album in January and released the album’s title track. Camp Cope recently performed Sam Fender’s ‘Seventeen Going Under’ for triple j’s Like A Version segment. The band made its US television debut last month with an appearance on CBS’ Saturday Morning.
