In what might be the best April fools joke so far today, Parkway Drive have taken to Facebook and Instagram to announce that they are letting fans name their Australian tour later this year.
All fans need to do is share the Name Our Tour picture on Instagram, suggest a new name for the as yet unannounced tour and use the hashtag, #nameparkwaystour. The post also suggests that the winner will win two tickets to a show of their choice, as well as a meet and greet with the band.
Some of the better suggestions so far include “Out Whoop Bush Doof Tour”, “Parkway And Chill”, “Byron Bay Botulism Bonanza” and the “You Can Park In My Driveway Tour”.
Then there’s our favourite so far “Toury McTourface” taking cues from a certain British vessel.
The competition will supposedly closes on Wednesday 6th April, and the winner will be announced along with the tour details on Friday 8th April.
