Toronto hardcore punks Cancer Bats are getting up to no good this September and October, with their Destroy Australian Tour featuring Melbourne rockers High Tension now locked in place.
Posting on Facebook, Cancer Bats have shared their excitement with fans, saying:
“Australia we are super fucking stoked to announce that we are coming to rip small headlining shows with ya!!! This going to be fucking sick!!!! Don’t sleep on tickets Cuz they will go fast!!!”
Cancer Bats toured Australia in 2013 with Soundwave Festival after cancelling their 2012 headline tour. The band have already been ruled out of Soundwave 2016, and will now tour the country with nine headline shows as part of their Destroy Australia Tour.
Cancer Bats dropped their fifth studio album, Searching for Zero, earlier this year, with vocalist Liam Cormier telling Music Feeds the record is “the classic mix of punk, hardcore, thrash and stoner metal but everything just pushed that much further from where we left off”.
