Canadian pop artist, Carly Rae Jepsen has given us a dream of a film clip to accompany her most recent bop ‘Now That I Found You’.
The video is very 2010 Tumblr with some nebula effects and lots of kitters, but we’re not complaining. The film clip is all about her love for a cat, which she paints, shares candlelit dinners with, and generally panders to.
It sees Carly Rae dance around with heaps of ginger cats, smoke catnip through a hookah, and ends with a romantic reunion — what a narrative.
In a statement Jepsen said, “‘Now That I Found You’ is about the high you get when a new love starts to change your life.
“It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug.”

‘Now That I Found You’ is set to be on a forthcoming album from Jepsen along with her last two singles, ‘No Drug Like Me’ and ‘Party For One’.
