Casiokids, among Norway’s finest electro-synth acts, have announced details of their second album, with Aabenbaringen over aaskammen due for release on October 11 (US) through Polyvinyl.
In English, that means ‘the revelation over the mountain’, as Consequence of Sound reports. The new LP marks the follow-up to Casiokids’ 2010 effort Topp Stemning På Lokal Bar (‘great vibe at local bar). Casiokids hail from the musical hotbed that is Bergen, and emerged in a small blaze of scene hype around 2007/8, partly on the back of being signed to ultra-hip label Mosho Moshi.
