Guitarist Celso Chavez, a founding member of 1990’s alt-rock act Possum Dixon, has died at age 44 due to a staph infection and complications with pneumonia – reports Diffuser.
Possum Dixon formed in Los Angeles in 1989 and released three albums on Interscope Records. Their self-titled debut in 1993 was home to the band’s biggest hit Watch the Girl Destroy Me.
