Melbourne rockers Children Collide will reunite for one-off shows in Melbourne and Sydney, beginning in their home city later this month.
Children Collide released their third studio album, Monuments, in April 2012, only a few months before drummer Ryan Caesar quit the band. Caesar has now returned, and will join bassist Heath Crawley and vocalist/guitarist Johnny Mackay for two intimate performances.
The band rehearsed as a group while the New York-based Mackay was in the country for Melbourne Music Week last month. It sounds fruitful, but the band’s management have explain “it’s highly speculative to assume anything further than these two shows will happen at this point”.
Children Collide will play Melbourne’s Ding Dong Lounge on Friday, 19th December 2014, and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Thursday, 15th January 2015. Tour and ticket details are available below.
