Everyone’s favourite loser, Chris Brown, has been sentenced to perform 1000 more hours of community service by an LA judge. Judge James Brandlin reinstated the singer’s probation, citing possible fraud in the documentation of Brown’s previous community service hours.
The troubled singer’s legal problems date back to his 2009 arrest for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, and have continued since with multiple charges for assault and traffic offences. Music Feeds recently reported that the singer is being sued over an incident that occurred between his entourage and singer Frank Ocean‘s, during which Brown made murder threats toward another party.
Judge Brandlin has given the singer till 25th August to complete the 1000 hours, which are to be performed in Los Angeles and could involve removal of graffiti or cleaning up of local beaches and highways. The order comes after a district attorney found “significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting” in Brown’s previous community service paperwork.
Earlier this month, Brown said that his upcoming album, titled X, might be his last. Brown took to Twitter to announce his retirement, saying “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album”. Hallelujah.
