Led into battle by the fearless Chris Carrabba, he of Dashboard Confessional fame, acoustic folk ensemble Twin Forks have announced they will be supporting City And Colour for his outdoor Australian tour dates this November.
Twin Forks will be manning support duties for the Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne dates of the national tour, and the band has promised that there will be a larger tour announcement made in the near future.
With Dashboard Confessional taking a knee indefinitely, Carrabba has had plenty of spare time on his hands. After performing at the recent SxSW and Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, talk of the Twin Forks live experience has been circulating Down Under, putting the new project at the top of many must-see lists.
Come this Friday, 20th September, Twin Forks’ eagerly awaited debut self-titled EP will be available in Australia, Speaking about the new tracks, Carrabba has explained he kept one foot squarely planted in the world of DC but has let the other one rest in the rootsy, folkish influences of his childhood.
Twin Forks will be appearing alongside previously announced support band Husky – as well as the man himself, Dallas Green – on the below dates. The full City And Colour tour schedule can be found here.
