Chris Cornell Cancels Sydney Show Due To Scheduling Conflict

Chris Cornell has cancelled the third Sydney show on his current tour playing acoustic shows around the country, citing a scheduling conflict.

The now-cancelled show was due to take place on Sunday 13th December at the Sydney Opera House. In a statement made via ticketing site Live Nation, Manager Ron Laffitte of Maverick Management said:

“We regret to inform that Chris Cornell’s third show at the Sydney Opera House is cancelled. Our artist was double booked leaving us with a scheduling conflict. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this has caused. Your tickets will be refunded for this show at point of purchase.

“Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”

Not the first time Cornell has visited us this year, playing the 2015 Soundwave festival with Soundgarden, he is nevertheless still playing two Sydney shows at the Sydney Opera House.

Performing stripped back versions of songs from across his entire career, spanning his work with Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple Of The Dog and his forthcoming solo album, he will also be visiting Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
