An Australian leg of Chris Rock’s ‘Ego Death World Tour’ has been announced for August.
It’s the first time the U.S. comedian has taken a stand up comedy show on the road in five years, so the expectations are high for this one.
Still, if you’ve been able to catch Rock’s recent Netflix special, Total Blackout: The Extended Cut, it’s safe to say the comedy legend’s still got it. And still has many more stories to tell.
Along with the Netflix special, Rock’s been busy with projects: from taking a veer into horror with his starring role in 2021’s Spiral, as well as his turn in award-winning series Fargo.
On his Australian run, Chris Rock will be playing arenas and entertainment centres along the east coast; starting in Melbourne and wrapping things up on the Gold Coast.
A ticket pre-sale kicks off from 2pm on Tuesday, 15 March via Telstra.com, with general ticket sales commencing from 10am, Friday 18 March at the TEG Dainty website.
