Dallas Green is blessing us with brand new City And Colour music, as he has just announced a bran new album A Pill For Loneliness. On top of that, he’s given us the album’s opening track ‘Living In Lightning’.
‘Living In Lightning’ is the third song we’ve heard from A Pill For Loneliness, following previously released singles ‘Astronaut’ and ‘Strangers’.
Of the album, Green says that while the tracks are dark thematically, he tried to make them sound as stunning and as beautiful as possible
“I wrote a lot of dark songs and wrapped them in the most beautiful sounds we could find,” Green said in a statement.
“There are personal connotations, but they’re also relatable. I’m thankful for the opportunity to create.”
Green will actually be in Australia next month, for an exclusive show closing the Brisbane Music Festival.
