Hotly hyped Adelaide trio City Riots will do a handful of dates across the east coast as well as their hometown as part of their Catch the Sun tour in April and May, throwing in some free shows in Sydney and Brisbane for good measure.
Fresh from taking out Radio Adelaide‘s Best Local Release Of 2012 award, the band will play club dates in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The band released their debut album Sea Of Bright Lights to critical acclaim at the end of last year – and this tour is named after the second single from the album.
Catch the Sun is a City Riots fan favourite, described as a standout in their live sets and “driven by a soaring guitar line, layered upon grumbling, scuzzy undertones with rich, skying melodies and smooth, ethereal vocals”.
Brisbane garage popsters Velociraptor will join the band for the Bondi show. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
