Cloud Control have announced that they’re heading out on tour in support of a new album they’re calling Zone.
The Sydney band will head out for a five-date trip around the country in September, and they’re going to have a swag of new tunes to play for you all.
Zone is their forthcoming third album, which comes four years after their last release, Dream Cave. It’s preceded by the (sort of) title track Zone (This Is How It Feels) ,which has also been released today.
“It’s our album’s flagship song,” lead vocalist Alister Wright says. “It’s sort of like breathing out.”
As for how long it took for the album to come together, drummer and vocalist Ulrich Lenffer says they “underestimated how long that would take”.
The band aimed to finish it in nine to 12 months and instead it took three years. It’s done now though and it will be with you 1st September, right before they head out on tour.
