It seems that Sydney by way of the Blue Mountains pop ensemble Cloud Control will be bidding our fair shores adieu for good next year, picking up sticks and moving to the UK. Currently on tour over there with Tame Impala, The Temper Trap and Local Natives, grabbing a few headline shows of their own on the side, the band will however be treating us to some farewell shows.
Wisely avoiding the British winter, the troupe will be returning in December and playing shows across the nation as well as making appearances at Meredith, Falls, Southbound, Sunset Sounds, Peats Ridge and Laneway Festival, the band apparently playing Peats Ridge and Falls Festival on the same day. They’ll also be curating and headlining a mini-festival at The Factory Theatre in Sydney called ‘Was I There In Your Future‘ with the band announcing one band a week leading up to the December 18th event which will feature a full day of entertainment including bands, Djs, art and video over multiple stages.
