CMC Rocks QLD had a huge 2019 and now they’re back for 2020 and with dates. The country music festival will return to Willowbank in Ipswich in March next year.
The event is Australia’s premiere country music festival and alongside the sets are songwriters shows, artist signings, and meet and greets.
While we now have dates, the lineup isn’t due until September. Last year’s lineup saw international acts: Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Combs lead the charge. Our very own Kasey Chambers and Troy Cassar-Daley were on the bill too.
Kate Jones, Queensland’s Tourism Industry Development Minister says CMC Rocks is a highlight on Queensland’s event calendar.
“This year’s CMC Rocks QLD demonstrated yet again that this state is the home of country music in Australia,” she said.
“We’re also the home of major events and the 2020 CMC Rocks Queensland promises to be another bumper affair, attracting music fans by the thousands to southeast Queensland and providing a great boost to the region’s economy.”
Last year’s event sold out “within moments” of tickets going on sale, so keep your eyes peeled.
Also never forget that Ipswich’s former mayor, Andrew Antoniolli did a shoey on stage at 2018’s event.
